Biography
Born in the mountain village of Innvik, a baby Viera was born despite the odds. A difficult pregnancy, followed by an even more difficult birth, Vo was thought not long for this world. Despite the odds, Vo survived and was named after the Vervain plant, to represent how rare he was to be brought into the Innvik village. Vo was a bright child from an early age. He desired to learn about the world around him, more than hunting and gathering. Vo's parents were rather understanding and would tell him stories heard from other villagers, or allow him to spend time with the older, wiser members of their clan. Despite all of the coddling and support, Vo still desired more knowledge and set out from the village of his birth at the age of 19.From the ages of 19-21 Vo traveled the lands, listening to stories and applying minor medical aid he learned from his home village. He learned of Sharlayan, and their ever-growing collection of knowledge. Vo set his sights on gaining access to the magical place of learning and began making his way to an establishment in the Dravanian Hinterlands. Alas, fate was not on Vovain's side as the Calamity struck before he could arrive at his destination.Vo wandered for a time, now lost and without a purpose. He arrived in Limsa Lominsa and discovered the Arcanist Guild, a lesser-scale facility of knowledge and learning, but one just the same. Vo took up the craft and began applying himself to his studies, learning spells and knowledge of Eorzea as a whole. When on a job taking him to Ul'dah, Vo happened upon an alchemist and instantly fell in love with the craft.Now Vovain bounces between Limsa Lominsa and Ul'dah to satisfy his desire for knowledge, creation, and healing. Until he happens upon a Maiden of Sharlayan origin...
